Winter Tips for Your Pets

During the colder months it is important to keep your pets warm and safe, especially outdoor pets such as rabbits and guinea pigs. Some animals will enjoy the cooler months especially if their breed is built for colder climates (Huskies for example).

However elderly and short haired pets can struggle during these times, investing in jumpers for the elderly dogs, or providing extra comfy spaces to sleep for cats are great alternatives for keeping our pets warm. Our outdoor pets should be kept cosy and would benefit from being brought inside, such as into a shed or garage. As well as the temperatures dropping, the days will become shorter and it will get darker sooner.

Therefore to keep pets safe you can invest in a reflective collar for dogs and cats to ensure they are seen when outdoors.
